Do I need to have a Pilates certification in order to take the course?

Yes, you should have completed a PMA recognized Pilates teacher training course.

 

Will I get PMA credits for the course?

Yes, the comprehensive course offers 12 PMA CECs. 

 

How much Jumpboard experience do I need to take the Jumpboard Dynamics course?

Ideally, instructors have prior jumping and teaching experience before taking the course and hold a certificate of completion from  500+ hour Pilates teacher training course accredited with PMA, or a Personal Training or Group Fitness certificate. However, instructors will put in jumping practice hours upon completion of course to prepare them for teaching JumpBoard Dynamics.

 

What if physical limitations prohibit me from jumping on the board but I would like to learn the material to teach my clients?

If a teacher believes he or she can learn the jumpboard repertoire and and technique sufficiently to  pass the written exam and convey the material in the practical exam, they are welcome to attend.

 

Will I receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course?

Certificate of completion is received after passing the written and practical exam on day 2 of the course.

 

What is the procedure for hosting a course?

Please contact us at info@jumpboarddynamics to get the ball rolling. In order to host a course, a minimum of 6 or 8 students is required depending on location, with at least 3 or 4 reformers/boards available.  Enrollment cannot exceed 3 students per jumpboard.  If your business or studio is interested in hosting, please see our host a course page, and contact us today.
